💋 𝒦𝒾𝓈𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝐹𝓁𝒶𝓂𝑒 ❤️‍🔥

I painted her to channel the collective pieces of my Soul that have experienced both the pain and the beauty of post traumatic growth throughout the many stages of my life. 

I feel deeply that these collective parts are woven together like a tapestry that is both glistening with golden strands as well as a bit tattered in places like a tethered rope.

But the way they work together is beautiful and my goal was to capture some of those complex emotions ❤️

"Kiss the Flame" is one of my favorite songs by Jewel from her 1998 album, "Spirit" which was a huge part of my teens and 20's, here are some of the lyrics:

Let it all fall away 
That's not crucial now

I'm tired of all these pilgrims
