I originally painted the background with Golden's High Flow Acrylics, the pinks, magentas and teals you see flowing through the background, I mixed them with water and Basics white acrylic paint...I think it was during a winter storm, outside of Cleveland, Ohio. It was so cold, snow everywhere...these colors made me feel so warm. In the center I poured gold liquid paint mixed with bronze liquid paint...watching them intermingle to music, I became more whole 🤍
Later on, I added the figure, while I was very pregnant...it was the summertime and spent many hours on the wooden floor of my studio painting to music, I can feel my feet on the wooden floor when I look at this painting 🤍
