What is an Embellished print?

"Embellishing" refers to hand painting over areas of the image by applying brush strokes to enhance color, and add interesting texture.

After receiving the print back from the printer, I grab my paint brushes and hand paint over many areas of interest and highlights to make it look like the original!ย

What is aย Giclรฉe + why is it valuable?

In its most basic definition, giclรฉe is a French term for โ€œto sprayโ€ or โ€œto squirtโ€.

It references the process that an inkjet printer uses to reproduce fine art or photography to create individual copies of the original piece. It is important to note that not all inkjet prints are giclรฉe prints. With giclรฉe printing, you can expect a higher quality product that lasts longer than your run-of-the-mill inkjet prints and there are certain criteria that must be met for a print to be considered a giclรฉe.ย

Why Choose an Embellishedย Giclรฉe?

As are the lines on human hands, no two artistsโ€™ embellishing techniques are the same. Nothing can beat the original edition of an artwork. However, you can buy a giclรฉe that is still a one-of-a-kindย since I am adding in hand painted brush strokes with all kinds of nourishingย healing energy for you.ย

One of the biggest reasons to buy an embellished giclรฉe is that it increases the value of your print.

Because embellishments make the work more original, it becomes more valuable and rare. The high quality and long lifespans of giclรฉes ensure that the prints appreciate in value.ย
